Due to a problem in a 3rd-party email service, outgoing emails could not be sent from our system. This affected team member invites and password resets.

We were notified by our automatic alerting system.

The issue had been resolved at 3:47 PM UTC.

A root cause analysis and a retrospective will be followed.
